Offline recording can be termed as invisible recording which is created invisibly and when you are not present to monitor activities of users.
Worried of the activities taking place when you are not present to monitor activities of users. Afraid that some mis happening could take place in your absence. Recoveryfix Computer Monitor takes you out from this problem with it Offline recording feature.
Offline recording when scheduled creates recordings of user activities in your absence. The recorded movie file gets saved in a folder on the remote computer system which is then required to be imported to server (system which is monitoring other systems). Monitored user cannot access the folder which you have defined or created for offline recordings. The recording folder to that user will remain inaccessible until you give permission by unlocking that folder from Recoveryfix Computer Monitor software.
Steps to create offline recording
Step 1:
Select Schedule Offline Recording option from the Recordings menu. Schedule Offline Recording window will appear to define settings for the offline recording:
Recoveryfix Computer Monitor searches for agent and all the available recordings scheduled before and for future. Computer Name, IP Address, Schedule Details, Duration(In Minutes), Repeat Time (In Minutes), Frame per Minutes, Repeat Recording Up to, Recording Path(on Remote Computer) fields are displayed with every detail related to the scheduled offline recording.

Enter path for saving offline recording. |
Type the path location where you want to save the recorded movie file on the remote computer selected for offline recording.
If you define a folder name for recording then software will create that folder at the define location and if no folder name is defined then software takes the default folder name of the computer system.

Define the week day on which you want to schedule recording. If you define Monday, then offline recording for the user will be created every week on the defined time.

Set Frames |
This option lets you define the number of frames which will be captured in one minute. Maximum limit is 60 frames per minute. In the Figure 1, Set frames is 30 and the movie duration is 10 minutes, so the frames that will be captured and saved for this movie file would be 300 frames in 10 minutes i.e. 10 x 30 =300

Change all selected computers date and time to my system's date and time (Recommended for Workgroup Computers): Selecting this option will change time and date of every remote system in the network according to your computer systems date and time. It is recommended for the Workgroup network computers and not for Domain based network computers as this may expire any installed software or lock any client.
Repeat Offline Recording When Finished (Repeat Recording After): Selecting this option will continue the recording even after it gets completed for its scheduled time. For suppose, recording duration is set to be for 10 minutes and the repeat offline recording is set to be 1, now when the 10 minutes recording gets completed, software will take a break for 1 minute and start the recording again after 1 minute of completion of the previous recording.
Note: This feature do not works with the Schedule Once option
Repeat the Cycle for: This option is connected with the above two mentioned options. It is related to duration and repeat of offline recording fields. The entered value signifies that the offline scheduled recording will get repeated after every 1 minute for 50 cycles.
Used Buttons:
- Start: Click to start the recording after defining offline recording settings
- Stop: Click to Stop any offline recording
- Remove: Click to Remove any recording from the list
- Close: Click to close the Schedule Offline Recording window
Step 2:
Select the user for offline recording and define settings for the recordings. Click the Start button to start with offline recording. Software will display the following warning:
Software will stop any ongoing offline recording if previously scheduled for the selected computer. Previous scheduled recording will get deleted and software will work accordingly with new defined settings.
Click Yes or No as per your recording schedules.
If you click Yes, software will provide you confirmation of the scheduled recording being implemented. If you click No, software will preserve previous offline scheduled recordings and delete the current settings.
