Register computers is the step where it lets you register those computers to your monitoring list which you want monitor. Only registered computers will be displayed in the Add Computer window to monitor. So it becomes necessary for you to register computers.
1. Launch Recoveryfix Computer Monitor software.
2. Recoveryfix Computer Monitor will ask you to register computers for monitoring:
Click OK to register computers and then click the Register Computer(s) link. This will open up Recoveryfix Computer Monitor Wizard to register computers:
3. Click Next to register computers for monitoring
Software helps to register computers in three modes:
a. Register Computers with IP Address: see the registration process
b. Register Computers by Agent Detection: see the registration process
c. Browse and Register Computers: see the registration process
It is mandatory for you to restart Recoveryfix Computer Monitor software after registering a new computer, adding a new computer or removing any computer from the monitoring list. You must understand that the changes will take place only after you restart the software.
